Mount Abu, the only hill station in Rajasthan houses Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary which is located at the foothills of Aravalli ranges at a height of 1219 meters. The sanctuary covers an area of 7 kms and a good hill spot for eco-system. The flora and fauna of the park is rich.

The landscape of Mount Abu Sanctuary is itself beautiful to enchant a wildlife lover. The climate of Mount Abu is pleasant throughout the year and one can visit this park throughout the year. The main attractions of the park are leopard sloth bear, wild boar, sambar, chinkara and langaur to name just a few.

Apart from the fauna of the sanctuary, floral biodiversity with thorn jungle and water bodies are the attractions of the sanctuary. This hill sanctuary is also home to various species of orchids, herbal plants, and bamboo trees.

The best time to visit Mount Abu Sanctuary is in between June to December. Mount Abu hill station visit also includes visit to the famous Dilwara Jain temples, Museum Art Gallery.
