Rajasthan, the most colorful destinations of India has an ancient history to tell.

Rajasthan tour is incomplete if you do not savor the Rajasthani cuisine. The flavor of Rajasthani cuisine is delicious as the cuisine menus of the state have been developed by the specialty of the Marwari community and Rajput community. The cuisine of Rajasthan also has been influenced by the cuisine culture of the neighboring states like Gujarat, Punjab, Haryana and Sindh. The Royal Rajput cuisine of the state has been deeply influenced by the Mughal cuisine. The Mughal inspired cuisines are curries, Pulaos and Kebabs which are eaten on silver plates. Oil fried wheat bubbles are called puries. It is a Rajasthani dish as well as Indian dish. It can be eaten as snacks as well as main meals in dinner and lunch.

The other famous dishes of Rajasthan are Chapatti, Khud Khargosh, Desert dishes, Lassi, etc. There are also some specialties of the tribal villages and the Rohet village. The cuisine of the Bishnoi community of Rohet village is purely vegetarian. The dishes are prepared at the typical Indian kitchen of the fire place made of mud brick.

Bikaner Bhujia and sweets are also famous dishes of Rajasthan. The typical Indian street foods are also seen in the streets of Rajasthan. Some of the regions of Rajasthan have also some specialties.
